The BIG Ashfield Spring Clean 2024

We are rolling out The BIG Ashfield Spring Clean across the District for the seventh year as part of our commitment to make Ashfield a cleaner place to live, work and visit.

Residents are invited to dispose of a small amount of bagged household waste during their designated week. On top of this Flying Skips will be out and about across the District for you to dispose of extra waste, toys and bric-a-brac.

Our free bulky waste collection scheme will start again in April.

Need to know more - check our FAQs in the related documents section of this web page.

The BIG Ashfield Spring Clean dates by location

The BIG Ashfield Spring Clean will roll out as follows:

Kerb side collections

Residents are invited to dispose of a small amount of bagged household waste. Waste should be bagged and put out with your regular bin collection during the relevant week, on your usual collection day. As long as it is in a bin liner and doesn’t contain hazardous materials, we will collect it.

Side waste will be collected at the same time as your regular bin collection. Please ensure the bagged waste is presented before 6am on the morning of your collection. You can check when your regular collection is due on our bin calendar
