Application for an Environmental Permit
We are seeking the views of our customers on an application received for a business in the area to operate a process which requires the Council to issue an Environmental Permit for the site.
What we are consulting you on?
Turbine Surface Technologies Limited (Registered Office: Moor Lane, Derby, DE24 8BJ) has applied to Ashfield District Council for an ‘environmental permit’ to allow them to operate an ‘installation’ within the district.
We are the responsible authority for dealing with applications of this type under the legislation and we must consider any application that we received in line with the legislation and guidance. As part of the process of considering this application we are required to provide public consultation.

The application of metal coatings to metal components where the process may result in the release into the air of particulate matter, and is likely to involve the use in any 12-month period of 20 or more tonnes of any metal coating which is sprayed on in molten form.
