Lifeline and Assistive Technology
We provide Lifeline and assistive technology services to help you or your relative to continue to live independently in a safe and supported way.
This involves setting you up with easy to use equipment that allows you to call for help quickly in an emergency.
It doesn't matter how old you are or whether or not you live in a council property, we can offer Lifeline support if you:
- have a physical disability
- have a mental health issue or learning disability
- have a sensory impairment
- are recently bereaved
- are experiencing domestic abuse or anti-social behaviour
- feel isolated or vulnerable at home for any other reason.
We can even offer our basic Lifeline service to those outside of Ashfield in the wider Nottinghamshire and East Derbyshire area. Our add-on assistive technology equipment is only available to Ashfield residents.

If you would like to speak to someone for more details about Lifeline, you can get in touch over the telephone or by email.
We'll need to know a little about you and any representatives who support you, and a bit about where you live so we can check that it will be possible to fit the equipment.
We will then arrange an appointment to have someone visit your home to get you set up.
