Following the service there were drinks and refreshments provided at the Bentink Miners Welfare.
Cllr Glenys Maxwell said ‘The service was a really lovely way to celebrate the start of the festive season and I’d like to personally thank everyone who attended.”
“I have chosen this charity as John Eastwood Hospice provided excellent care and support for my late husband, Kevin. I look forward to future events, hosted by Ashfield District Council to further support my charity.”
