Helping Sutton look blooming Wonderful

Monday 25 June

As part of its pledge to improve the gateways to its towns and villages, Ashfield District Council has planted the Kirkby Road roundabout in Sutton.

As a main gateway into the town, visitors are now greeted with red, white and blue flowers, bringing a patriotic, summer look to the area.

Cllr Jason Zadrozny, Leader of Ashfield District Council says “The Council is committed to improving the gateways to the district and to be welcomed into Sutton with these red, white and blue flowers makes a real impact. We want residents to be proud of where they live, and planting such as this can make a real difference.”
