Ashfield Community Fund

The Ashfield Community Fund is now open.  The aim of the Fund is to support people in Ashfield by making grants to groups who work to directly benefit communities in the District.

This fund is suited to smaller and medium sized projects and available for groups who deliver projects under any of the following themes and Council priorities:

  • Communities and Environment
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Homelessness
  • Organisational Improvement
  • Place and Economic Growth

Amount Available and Rounds

The fund runs one round per year with grants from £500 to £1,000 per grant.  There may be a second round depending on demand and available funds. 

Decisions on the allocation of funding will be made by a Grants Panel which will include Ashfield District Council members and Officers.  All grants awarded are for the duration of one year.

Applications where match funding and/or fundraising is being undertaken in relation to the grant being applied for will be considered favourably.

Financial support cannot be given for direct employment of staff and/or building running costs.

Applications for uniforms and sports kits will not be accepted.
