Kirkby in Ashfield Community Benefit Fund

Fifty ID RE Limited, the operator of a wind turbine near Kirkby, is providing £2,500 per year for 25 years for infrastructure community projects. The funding will be shared between a maximum of three groups to improve their sustainability and offer an enhanced programme of events and activities.

Groups and specific projects must be based in Kirkby in Ashfield and must benefit the majority of residents in Kirkby (including the Annesley area).

You must complete and return your application form to us, together with supporting documents, by Friday 6 April 2018.  The successful applicant(s) and amount of funding awarded will be decided by a grants panel in May 2018.

What are infrastructure organisations?

Local or Specialist Development Organisations, which provide leadership of the voluntary sector and advice to service delivery voluntary sector groups. They cover everything from recruiting and supporting volunteers to how to organise events through to advice with business planning, funding advice, writing a constitution and forming an organisation. They also provide specialist advice and support on a range of issues.
