Ashfield Plant & Garden Fair taking root in Sutton this weekend

Ashfield District Council’s annual Plant & Garden Fair is back for the 28th year this weekend.

Visitors will be able to shop the wide variety of plants, flowers, and garden decorations on Sunday 15 May on Portland Square, Sutton, from 10am – 2pm. Over nine stalls will be offering hanging baskets, perennials, cacti, succulents, ferns, grasses, bedding plants, vegetable plants, pots, planters, and garden ornaments.   

Councillor Samantha Deakin, Portfolio Holder for Parks, Town Centres and Neighbourhood Services said “The annual Plant and Garden Fair is always a popular market event.  That’s why we are so we are pleased to be bringing it back to Sutton again for its 28th year. It looks like the weather is going to be on our side so make sure you head down to Portland Square for all your gardening needs!

“This market event marks the start of our fantastic summer of events. We will be releasing details for our upcoming events shortly; keep an eye on our social media and website.
