Grants paid to local businesses passes £1million
Over £1million has already been paid out by Ashfield District Council to local businesses as part of the Local Restrictions Support Grant and the Discretionary Local Business Support Grant Schemes.
The grants are available to local businesses that have been affected by the second national COVID lockdown and includes non-essential retail, hospitality, leisure, accommodation, personal care, entertainment and businesses in the direct supply chain of these business sectors. We are working hard to process the applications as quickly as possible and get the monies to those businesses eligible for the grants.
Over 570 local businesses have already applied and we encourage all eligible businesses to apply before the application deadline at midnight on Sunday 29th November 2020.
The online eligibility checker quickly lets businesses see if they are eligible to apply for the grants. If they answer yes to all six eligibility criteria, the next step is complete a quick and easy application form. All applications must be made online, complete with the required evidence, and before the deadline.
