CALM - Campaign Against Living Miserably

CALM takes a stand against suicide, feeling hopeless, standing up to stereotypes by challenging the stigma that prevents people talking about suicide. CALM aims to show life is always worth living. CALM’s helpline and webchat are open 365 days a year, offering practical suggestions for all of life’s problems - whether that’s anxiety, relationship concerns, health worries, money worries or suicidal thoughts. CALM is challenging the stigma surrounding men’s mental wellbeing, as well as male stereotypes of what and how men should handle mental health issues. CALM works alongside various communities such as universities, pubs, football stadiums, prisons, or clubs to empower people to share their experiences and get the help they need before they reach the point of crisis.
