Discover Ashfield Awards 2026
Nominations for the 2026 awards are open
The Discover Ashfield awards return for another year to celebrate residents and businesses that have supported the community and contributed to the residents of Ashfield during the past year.
Cllr Matthew Relf, Executive Lead Member for Growth, Regeneration and Local Planning, said:
“Ashfield has some incredible individuals, organisations and businesses who really make a difference to their communities but often don’t get the recognition they deserve.
“The Discover Ashfield Awards is your chance to thank them for everything they do and shout about all of the amazing things they have achieved. It is a chance for people to come together and share their stories on a night that is all about celebrating what is good about Ashfield.
“If you know someone who is worthy of an award, then please nominate them and give them their well-deserved moment in the spotlight.”
Kieran Percival, Chair of Discover Ashfield, said:
“It’s a real privilege to be Chair of Discover Ashfield and to see first-hand just how much talent, ambition and passion we have across our district.
“The Discover Ashfield Awards are about celebrating that success and giving people, businesses and organisations the opportunity to tell their stories and be proud of what they have achieved.
“I would particularly encourage people not to think ‘this isn’t for me’ or wait for somebody else to nominate them. If you’re doing something great in Ashfield, whether that’s growing a business, supporting your community, creating opportunities or simply going above and beyond, we want to hear about it.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing this year’s entries and, most importantly, bringing everyone together to celebrate the people and organisations that make Ashfield a place we can all be proud of.”
This year’s awards brings new categories for people to nominate in, each designed to celebrate an individual or organisation’s outstanding achievements.
