Contaminated Land (ENGLAND) Regulations 2006

Notice of decision that land is required to be designated as a Special Site

being a relevant person [the appropriate Agency] (as defined by 78C(2) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 ("the Act")).

Ashfield District Council ("the authority") hereby gives notice that it has decided that, under section 78(C)(1 )(a) of the Act, the land situated in the area of the authority, as described in Schedule 1 to this Notice, is contaminated land due to the presence of the pollutant linkages described in

Schedule 2; which is required to be designated as a Special Site due to the presence of the pollutant linkages described in Schedule 3.

This Notice shall take effect [after the expiration of twenty-one days beginning with the date of service of this Notice]
