Apply for social housing

You can use the Homefinder website to apply to be added to the housing register and bid on properties in Ashfield and Mansfield.

The housing register is open to anyone aged over 16 who has a connection to the local area. There are exclusions for immigration control and UK residency and for those who have behaved in a way making them unsuitable as a tenant or unlikely to be able to maintain a tenancy. All exclusions are explained on the Homefinder website.

If you were rehoused less than 2 years ago you will only be able to re-join Homefinder if you have a housing need such as overcrowding, a welfare or a medical need.

Apply for social housing
