Running a business from your council home

You must obtain our written permission first before setting up any business from your home. We will let you know in writing of our decision. 

If permission is granted it will have the following conditions:

• you are not allowed to advertise the business around the property
• you are not allowed to have deliveries between 6pm and 8am
• you must be respectful of your neighbours
• should we receive any complaints regarding your business or if this causes a nuisance to the neighbourhood then we may retract this permission
• you must be registered with any appropriate bodies.
