Do you want to explore the employment, apprenticeship, volunteering, and training opportunities available on your doorstep?
Ashfield District Council, in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions, will be hosting Ashfield Careers Fair 2026 at Kirkby Leisure Centre on Wednesday 14th October 2026 from 10:00am until 2:00pm.
The event is free to attend and is open to residents aged 15+, including jobseekers, students, school leavers, career changers, and anyone interested in developing their skills or progressing their career.
At the event you will be able to:
- Meet local employers from a range of sectors.
- Explore current job vacancies.
- Find out about apprenticeship opportunities.
- Learn about local training and skills programmes.
- Access careers guidance and support.
- Discuss volunteering opportunities.
- Receive self-employment and business start-up advice.
With up to 75 exhibitors in attendance, the Careers Fair offers a great opportunity to discover what is available across Ashfield and the surrounding area.
