- The Budget and Spending Review 2025 UK GDP took place on 26 November 2025
- From 1 April 2026, the National Living Wage (NLW) will increase by 4.1 percent to £12.71 per hour.
- The National Minimum Wage (NMW) for 18 to 20 year olds will also increase by 8.5 percent to £10.85 per hour and for 16 to 17 year olds and apprentices by 6 percent to £8.00 per hour. The accommodation offset will increase by 4.1 percent to £11.10 per day.

- As of 2025, the population in Ashfield increased by 2.5% since 2020, growing by 3,183. Population is expected to increase by 0.9% between 2025 and 2030, adding 1,227.
- From 2020 to 2025, jobs increased by 8.5% in Ashfield from 51,089 to 55,440. This change outpaced the national growth rate of 7.4% by 1.1%.
