Safeguarding test

Please read this information before beginning the test.

Taxi Driver & Private Hire Operator safeguarding test

As part of the application process for Hackney carriage & private hire (dual) driver licence.

This safeguarding test consists of 9 questions; you must answer at least 6 questions correctly in order to pass this test.

In order to assist you take and pass this test, you will need view our safeguarding video.

You will also need a copy of your photographic identity to upload, to prove your ID, such as a copy of your passport, Citizen card or DVLA Driving Licence photo card.

After you have completed the test

If you fail the test, you will be notified by email, and you will need to keep retaking the test until you have passed it.

If you pass the test, you will be notified by email and your record updated accordingly.
