Annual Plant and Garden Fair 2026 - this weekend

Ashfield District Council’s annual Plant and Garden Fair is returning to Sutton this weekend on Sunday 17 May from 9am.

The plant fair will be taking place on Sutton’s Market Place car park and will see traders selling a range of plants including ornamental and fruit trees, shrubs, roses, cut flowers, vegetable plants, alpines, perennials, annuals, bedding packs, hanging baskets, grasses, ferns, house plants, garden accessories, wreaths and gifts.

Cllr Chris Huskinson, Executive Lead Member for Leisure, Health and Wellbeing, said:

“Our plant fair is always a great market event, drawing people into Sutton from across Ashfield, boosting the footfall in the town centre and supporting our local traders.”

The Plant and Garden Fair marks the start of the Council’s event calendar, with the next event, Selston Films in the Park, taking place on Saturday 20 June at Selston Country Park.
