Ashfield’s biggest summer extravaganza returns in a month
The highly anticipated three‑day Ashfield Show will be back to wow audiences next month.
From Friday 7 August to Sunday 9 August, Sutton Lawn will once again transform into a buzzing festival ground filled with entertainment, culture and family fun.
Officially opening at 2.30pm on 7 August, the show will bring back the same excitement, community spirit and summer celebration that residents know and love.
Over the weekend, starting from 10am on Saturday and Sunday, visitors will be greeted with a full programme of live performances, hands‑on activities and family‑friendly experiences.
Visitors can explore a vibrant marketplace of traders offering handcrafted jewellery, gifts, clothing, baked treats, pet accessories and more. Refuel at the expanded food court serving irresistible street food, with plenty of refreshing drink options available at bars throughout the site.
Thrill‑seekers will be able to enjoy the funfair, packed with rides and attractions for all ages, while families won’t want to miss the ever‑popular dog show, always a crowd favourite.
And that’s not all! Ashfield Show 2026 will also welcome the Ashfield Community Zone, bringing together organisations from across the district with live entertainment in the show ring and a new nature trail with prizes to be won.
The heartbeat of this year’s show is the main stage, hosting a standout mix of tribute acts and local talent across all three days.
From fantastic tribute acts to a community area and dog show, there’s something for everyone throughout the weekend.
Cllr Chris Huskinson, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Health and Wellbeing, said: “Ashfield Show continues to be one of the district’s most loved events, and 2026 is shaping up to be our biggest celebration yet.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for families, friends and neighbours to come together, enjoy great entertainment and take pride in everything that makes Ashfield such a vibrant community.”
With just over a month to go, excitement is building as Ashfield prepares to welcome thousands of visitors for a weekend packed with music, entertainment and community spirit.
