Flying Skips land in Kirkby
The first Flying Skips touched down in Kirkby on Saturday 7 March, launching the BIG Ashfield Spring Clean with real momentum.
From 9am, our teams were out across the community collecting excess waste from local residents. Everything from garden cuttings to old toys were brought along, and the turnout was fantastic.
It was an excellent start to this year’s BIG Spring Clean. Tonnes of waste were collected, and residents shared glowing feedback about the friendly, hardworking staff who made the day such a success.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part. Community support is at the heart of this campaign, and it’s inspiring to see so many people getting involved.
And we’re only just beginning, the Flying Skips will be landing in Hucknall this Saturday (14 March).
