Sparks in the Park returns in a weeks time

In just over a week’s time, Sutton Lawn will light up with Ashfield's fantastic free fireworks display.

Sparks in the Park returns on Saturday 7 November, bringing an evening of family fun, live entertainment and spectacular fireworks to the district.

The popular event will feature two free fireworks displays, a funfair, a live DJ, and, for the first time, a range of traders for visitors to browse throughout the evening.

Gates open at 4pm, with a dedicated children's fireworks display at 6pm, followed by the main fireworks spectacular at 8pm.

The free event is expected to attract thousands of visitors from across Ashfield and beyond, cementing its place as one of the district's most anticipated community events.

John Bennett, Executive Director of Place at Ashfield District Council, said:

"With just one week to go, we're looking forward to welcoming residents, families and friends to Sutton Lawn for an evening of entertainment and community celebration. The event has quickly become a firm favourite in Ashfield's events calendar."

Residents are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the attractions and entertainment before the fireworks begin.
