Summer Starts Here: Selston Films in the Park Returns This Weekend
Selston Films in the Park will be back on Saturday 20 June, bringing two family‑friendly films and a full day of entertainment to Selston Country Park.
Gates open at 1pm, giving visitors plenty of time to explore what’s on offer before settling in for two fantastic outdoor screenings. At 2pm, the mischievous, fun‑filled adventure of Peter Rabbit 2 will hit the big screen. Then at 6pm, the park will come alive with the feel‑good musical favourite Hairspray, perfect for dancing, singing, and celebrating a summer evening together.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy a wide range of attractions including inflatables, face painting, music, outdoor films, local traders, and a fully stocked bar. With something for all ages, it’s the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, and make memories with friends and family in the beautiful surroundings of Selston Country Park.
Cllr Arnie Hankin, Ward Councillor for Selston, said: “Films in the Park is one of the highlights of our summer events programme, and it’s fantastic to see it return to Selston.
