Hucknall Westville Pride in Place Programme Survey
Hucknall has been selected as part of the Government’s Pride in Place Programme, a long-term initiative designed to support neighbourhood regeneration and community-led change across Great Britain – with up to £20 million to invest in local people’s priorities, over the next ten years.
The fund is 63% Capital funding (which can be used to improve, or build, new buildings/community facilities, as an example) and 37% Revenue funding (which can be used to pay for services, running costs, resources and voluntary groups, as examples).
Allocation and spend of this funding will be overseen by the Neighbourhood Board, which is run by local people, for local people.
You can read more about Neighbourhood Boards on the following link:
The Board is supported by Ashfield District Council (which holds the finances for the Board) and the Member of Parliament.
The Council is already investing over £1.35 million into Hucknall to redevelop the High Street, including Central Walk and Chapel Street.
If you live, work, learn or visit Hucknall, please take just a few minutes to tell us how you think this money would be best spent. We have started to consider ideas, but you know your area best!
Please provide your contact details when completing the survey if you would like to be entered into a prize draw with a chance to win a £50 gift card.
The closing date for this phase of the consultation is 18 September 2026.
You can drop off your written response at:
