Christmas tree collection
We are carrying out free collections of real Christmas trees during the week from 6 January 2026.
All collections must be booked before 12pm on Friday 2 January.

Only Ashfield residents may request a collection.
Collection days
Tuesday 6 January
Sutton/ Huthwaite/ Stanton Hill/ Skegby/ Harlow wood area.
Wednesday 7 January
Kirkby and Annesley.
Thursday 8 January
Hucknall, Rural Areas (Selston, Underwood, Jacksdale, Westwood, Brinsley)
Friday 9 January
All areas, to collect any trees missed or not put out on earlier collections.
Preparing your tree for collection
- the tree being collected must be a real tree, with all the ornaments and decorations removed from it
- the tree must be presented from 6am on the collection day, and must be at the boundary of the property
- if potted, the tree must be removed from the pot
- if the tree is bigger than 6ft then it will need to be cut in half.
