Business events and networking

Workshops, seminars and networking events

Our business support team organises free networking events twice a year - Spring and Autumn.

These events are designed to help local, regional, and national organisations make new connections, while also providing information in support of topical issues that are impacting local companies. In attendance we usually see council leaders, business directors, and CEOs, together with representatives from many of our partners, such as the Department for Business and Trade, East Midlands Chamber, West Notts College, local universities, trade associations, and of course many local businesses.

Networking Groups

Nottinghamshire County Council

Mansfield and Ashfield Business Network

Mansfield and Ashfield Business Network previously known as MA2020 is a local not-for-profit organisation that helps connect people, build partnerships, and help grow organisations across Mansfield, Ashfield, and the surrounding areas. The organisation runs regular networking breakfasts, women in business luncheons, and has an annual business awards dinner. If you are a local business, then you can also list your company in their online directory, and you can attend your first event for free. After this theirs a small membership fee.

Are a networking club for local small businesses, providing support, advice, and new business opportunities for past, present, and future entrepreneurs.
