We spend around £35m on supplies and services each year, providing businesses of all sizes with a wide range of commercial opportunities. Our priority is to secure the best value for money. Businesses wishing to contract with us should have some understanding of our purchasing processes. The principles are the same for all local authorities and central government. We may be requested to disclose information supplied by you under the Freedom of Information Act.

The Procurement Act 2023
