Housing surgeries at Sheltered Courts
We have 12 sheltered courts across the district, providing independent living accommodation for tenants aged 60 and over.
Housing Officers hold quarterly Housing Surgeries at each scheme, giving tenants the opportunity to discuss issues affecting their court, share feedback and raise any concerns in an informal setting. Issues raised are reported to the relevant service areas and used to help inform service improvements.
In addition, we deliver a programme of Building Safety Housing Surgeries, ensuring all sheltered courts are included within our 3 year Tenant Engagement Plan.
These sessions are attended by senior officers from Health and Safety, colleagues from our Repairs and Assets and Housing Teams, alongside external partners such as Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.
These events provide tenants with direct access to the people responsible for key services, allowing them to ask questions, discuss concerns and influence decisions relating to the safety, maintenance and management of their homes and communities.
