Frequently asked questions
Prior to a new placement we will meet with you to discuss your preferences and the skills and experience you would like to develop. We will then try and best match these to the placements that are available.
Where appropriate discuss with your placement line manager. Where concerns are not resolved contact the graduate coordinator.
If you find that you have spare capacity:
- Speak with your placement line manager who may be able to provide you with additional work to do relating to the original project scope
- If there is no resolution, speak with the graduate coordinator as soon as possible.
You have joined a fast paced development programme. So that you achieve all development opportunities:
- Begin with the end in mind - decide where you want to be in the future and work out how to get there.
- Plan your programme dates in your calendar as soon as possible.
- Network with former Graduates.
- Make the most of mentoring sessions.
- Attend all training workshops.
- Report any problems or concerns when they happen - we are here to help and advise.
It is advised that you start to apply for jobs in the final three months of the scheme.
Yes, you can claim expenses in certain circumstances. Expenses can be claimed via the expenses section in iTrent.
