An exciting opportunity has arisen to start, expand or transfer a catering business in one of Ashfield’s busiest Green Flag parks.
The Café at Brierley Forest Park is currently run by Brierley Forest Park Trust volunteers, who work tirelessly to keep the cafe running. Following notice being given by the Trust we are now offering this fantastic catering opportunity at one of Ashfields most popular parks.
Brierley Forest Park is located in Huthwaite and has been awarded for its high quality green space. Ashfield District Council are looking for someone who may be interested in taking the leap to start, expand or transfer their catering business in this fantastic park location.
Brierley Forest Park has a wide range of facilities, including play equipment, fishing ponds, a visitors centre, children’s play trail, cycling and sculpture trails. The park has been transformed into a wildlife haven with walks covering over two miles.
Leader of Ashfield District Council, Councillor Jason Zadrozny said ‘The volunteers have done a fantastic job in running the café and we thank them for all their hard work. Now the current Trust have said they no longer feel able to run the centre, this is a wonderful opportunity for a catering business to bring new ideas to this Green Flag award winning park. The Council is dedicated to developing businesses and improving the quality of parks. This investment will enhance the community and local area.”
