As part of the King and Miller to Kingfisher project, local heritage groups and conservation professionals came together at Sutton Lawn's Rumbles Café on 25th May to brainstorm ideas and potential activities for the project.
The suggested activities ranged from creating audio trails to historical treasure trails and costume days. These ideas will help to shape the activity plan and encourage local people to get actively involved and learn more about the heritage of Kings Mill Reservoir, Sutton Lawn and Hermitage Ponds.
“It was a pleasure to be a part of the event and meeting everyone. I thoroughly enjoyed it” said one group member.
The workshop is part of a number of consultation activities taking part in the Sutton area over the next couple of months.
