Interim Review of Polling Places

The Council is undertaking an interim review of a limited number of polling places to resolve a small number of issues identified at recent elections held in 2019.

The consultation period for the review commenced on 15th August 2019 and will end on 12th September.

During that period, the Council would welcome your views on the Council’s existing polling places included in the review. Maps showing the existing and proposed polling districts and polling places are available on the Council’s website here and at the Council offices. 

Your comments as to the suitability of the polling stations to be used at the designated polling places and of their accessibility to electors who are disabled would be most welcome.

The Returning Officers proposals for new polling districts and suitability of polling stations are available on the Council’s website.

Details of all representations received will be made available for inspection.

The Council will consider the review proposals at its meeting to be held on 26 September 2019, and will publish the outcome of the review thereafter.
