"These grants reflect our commitment to supporting grassroots organisations that make a real difference in Ashfield.
The funded projects will help to build skills and strengthen community ties across the district. There’s a real range of projects that have received this funding and I am excited to see how they progress over time and benefit our residents and District.

Ashfield District Council has been allocated £3.19 million from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) to support local projects from 2022 to 2025. Delivered through the East Midlands Combined County Authority, this funding replaces previous EU programmes and focuses on 3 key priorities: communities and place, supporting local businesses, and people and skills. Ashfield’s share is being used to improve high streets, boost employment, support grassroots organisations, and enhance wellbeing across the district.
