Ashfield Careers Fair is back for 2025
Jobseekers looking for their dream role are being invited to find out what is on offer at the 2025 Ashfield Careers Fair.
Ashfield District Council will once again be hosting the event at Kirkby Leisure Centre, on Hodgkinson Road, from 10am to 2pm on Wednesday 8 October.
It will include around 75 businesses promoting more than 500 jobs and apprenticeships across the District.
The free event, supported by headline sponsors AF Switchgear Ltd, Killicks Accountants Ltd, and Matthews and Tannert Ltd, is the perfect opportunity to discuss what employment, self-employment, and training opportunities are available right on the doorstep.
Ashfield District Council, in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions, will be hosting the event alongside guest exhibitors representing key employment sectors including manufacturing, construction, transport, logistics, education, healthcare, retail, hospitality, and the public sector.
Cllr Matthew Relf, Ashfield District Council’s Executive Lead for Growth, Regeneration and Local Planning, said:
“Our Ashfield Careers Fairs are always hugely successful events and showcase the fantastic businesses we have right here in Ashfield.
“There is something for everyone – whether you are looking to get back into work, changing career or taking the next step on the employment ladder. There are so many opportunities right in the heart of Ashfield and this is the chance to talk to the people behind those businesses to find out more about what they do.”
This is a free event and no booking is required – jobseekers can just show up on the day.
There are still some free stalls available for businesses to exhibit at the event. Those who are wanting to promote their jobs and training opportunities are urged to email Business support:
