The Complex Case Team aims to work closely with residents to help manage complex situations. Our goal is to enable the resident to overcome barriers and restore balance to chaotic scenarios.
Throughout this process we strive to enable the residents to become self-sufficient and equip them with the skills and knowledge to maintain stability in their lives.
Evaluation of the Support Teams, carried out in both 2016 and 2017 by Nottingham Trent University, highlighted significant positive impacts of working with residents in this way. For full, detailed information of these reports please see the attachments here for the2016 and 2017 evaluations.
Referrals to the complex case team are made via the complex case panel – more information on this process can be found here
We have a Domestic Abuse & Vulnerability Officer within the complex case team who can provide in-depth advice and support regarding Domestic Abuse. For more information please see our Domestic Abuse and Safeguarding page.
As part of the Community Safety team we have close working links with the Antisocial Behaviour and Nuisance team and Community Protection.
