Volunteering opportunities
As well as our employees we are supported by and offer opportunities to those who want to work voluntarily.
What is volunteering?
Volunteers are people who, unpaid and of their own free will, contribute their time, energy and skills to benefit their community.
Volunteering is important to many people because of the benefits it brings to their lives and the satisfaction they get out of helping others.
What's in it for me?
Volunteering brings many benefits to you as well as others, which include:
- meeting people and having fun
- making new friends
- updating your skills and experience to help find employment
- feeling valued, and
- making a positive difference to your local area.
We offer several opportunities including:

Skills which can be developed and help you link to further opportunities include:

We are able to provide equipment, training and advice to help you carry out your volunteer role and help keep Ashfield a great place to live, work, learn and visit.
