Business Grants Update

Restart Grants for non-essential retail, hospitality, leisure, accommodation, personal care and gyms and a further round of Discretionary Grant funding are available for Ashfield businesses to apply for.

For this round of grants additional verification checks are required by the government. These new additional checks are carried out externally by the National Fraud Initiative and Spotlight, the governments due-diligence tool.

They are validating all applications in all local authority areas and therefore handling a high volume of applications.

These new external checks are mandatory and are in addition to information required for the previous rounds of grants.

Until the external verification checks are returned to the Council we are unable to process any payments.

We expect to start making payments 26 April 2021. Please bear with us.

There is an application deadline of Midnight on Sunday 25 April for the Discretionary Grants.

Applications for the Restart Grants close on 30 June 2021

Any applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
